Another Step Towards My Dream

I've always wanted to be a FASHION DESIGNER. Fashion design has been my only target since I've been in high school. I used to draw many designs and sketches. It has been haunting my mind and making me more determined in reaching my goal.

Then I delayed a whole semester just to study the major that is closest to my dream. And it is considered to be the basics that every artist or designer has to know in order to be knowledgeable in whatever he/ she wants to be specialized in, which in my case is fashion design.

Now, during my mid-term vacation, I'm training at a tailor place so I can know more about sizes, textiles, cuts… I am having so much fun plus I feel I'm doing something beneficial during this vacation, and of course I am going to complete training for 3 more months till I learn all the basics related to clothing and tailoring.

My next step is to take a scholarship (inshaAllah) so I can go to Italy, as some professors did recommend me for that scholarship. Moreover, dad has co-workers in Italy too that are in the fashion business, and he might send me there for training.

May God be with me and help me through reaching my goal. I really wish I can make it one day and be a great designer.

Amal… My sis my best friend! We always shared every moment of laughter, sorrow, chatting, talking about people :p And of course, my favorite part of all, the SECRETS! I cry on her shoulders when I feel sad or depressed. I sleep beside her when I'm scared at night or when I feel cold! Hehe! She laughs at my jokes! I always benefit from her comments or opinions and they mean a lot to me. She has made me a better person in a way or another. She always encouraged me and made me feel better!! You are MY INSPIRATION. Last weekend made us much closer since we were alone at home while mom and bro traveled.

I want to tell you that I'm truly blessed to have you in my life! I LOVE YOU! And thanks for the sweet card.

This post is especially dedicated to one of my best friends which happens to be a blogger here too J Fed, Fatshino, Feddooooo they all refer to the same guy: FADI! Fadi is a role model to all guys... He is and ambitious, straight forward, decent, down to earth, friendly person. Not to forget that he sings and composes lyrics. PLUS he is a great designer and does short movies! I personally look up to him! Well I thought I'd thank him on my blog because he helped me out a lot through it all.

my new hair styleee

silkscreens finals!!

8-1-2007 was the day that i should print out my silkscreens final. I went to uni at 8 am and worked on my print until 12! I think I could have done better and I'm not really satisfied about it. Then one of my friends got me something to eat as i was starving, hehe! I was eating peacefully until I noticed that my shirt was coloured with black ink which was left from one of my class mates.. and the challenge was that I had to clean it traight away or it would have stained! I took it off and wore my jacket instead then washed it. I hanged it on the window until my professor came and told me to put it on the heater. What a day!

Spending a day with friends:D

Sometimes when u spend time home with friends will be much better than going out 2 a café !! like today ! I had friends over instead of going out ! we had LOTS and LOTS of fun :D thanks gurls LOVE YAA MPWAA :P
